Grieving for the death of a loved one is a long process that takes time and acceptance. A eulogy poem is a special form of prose written to offer comfort to the bereaved.
Even so, it does not have to be looked upon as a daunting task. Personal experiences are expected to be re told and reminisced, and to be shared with other people who will be listening. Sometime you find yourself not saying anything at all and that can be even worse than saying the wrong thing.
This may include a request for a certain person to perform the service, the choosing of particular flowers, and even the selection of funeral music. Make sure that your resolution is short, especially if other people are planning on giving separate eulogies. Think about your favorite memories of the people you love chances are many of those memories are based on funny events.
It is a chance to help others begin the transition to a life after the person's passing. It is a wonderful idea to include any major achievements that occurred during the person's lifetime.
