If you are very close to a person who has recently passed on, chances are you will be attending their funeral. In some cases, the surviving family members will address all the funeral details when they make the arrangements.
My feelings are that you should go with what feels right for you and what your departed loved one may have wanted. It's important to celebrate but not at the expense of acknowledging that something important has been lost. Burial customs vary enormously depending on culture.
This part can take the form of a narrative, the way that the person's history did, or several people can get up to talk about their memories of the deceased. A marvelous life that is now celebrated forever. This is a great way for those that are able to express their feelings on paper to do so and share those words to help heal the grief experienced by other family members as well.
Think about your life and what would you like most remembered. It should be written and delivered from the heart.

That's great!!!!! That funeral video is awesome. She was a model, actress and an American recording artist. Really cutie!!! I saw her videos that is very nice and good to see. I ALWAYS REMEMBER HER. RIP......
