funeral homes

A lot of people read out poems at wakes and funerals. Funeral poems do not need to be sad or tearful, as long as they reflect the character of the person you have lost.

Hopefully you have the love and support of family and friends throughout this painful time. When you are grieving, it is normal that your thoughts are about death, but remember it is about celebrating a life lived as well. It will take a little time to make it perfect, so do not get frustrated if you are unable to write eulogy in one sitting.

Adequate preparation must be made to gather biographical facts about the person you will be talking about. If you are still looking for funeral poems, I have written more on the subject which I hope you may find useful. A Celebrant is trained to help individuals create and present a personalized funeral, memorial or celebration of life service.

Funeral services are meant to celebrate the lives of lost love ones. It should be written and delivered from the heart.
